President, PM Extend Eid Greetings to Nation

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have conveyed their heartfelt Eidul Fitr greetings to the nation, urging citizens to embrace unity, compassion, and social responsibility during the festive occasion.

In his Eid message, President Zardari highlighted the significance of charity and solidarity, encouraging Pakistanis to support those in need by contributing Zakat, Sadaqat, and Fitrana. He stressed the importance of national unity and prayed for the well-being of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also extended his best wishes, calling for unity to counter challenges such as extremism and sectarianism. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to economic stability, peace, and national progress while honoring the sacrifices of Pakistan Army personnel in the fight against terrorism.

Both leaders expressed solidarity with the families of martyrs and the oppressed people of Palestine and Kashmir. They urged the nation to uphold the true spirit of Eid by promoting brotherhood and harmony.

Additionally, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held telephonic conversations with various world leaders, including Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, extending Eid greetings and expressing hopes for continued peace and prosperity.
