Singer Salman Ahmed booked under PECA Act

A case has been registered against singer Salman Ahmed under the PECA Act.

According to the police, Salman Ahmed was booked for spreading anti-establishment and anti-state propaganda.

The case was registered with Police Station Defence A on the complaint of the police.

According to the text of the FIR, Salman Ahmed spread false propaganda on social media against national institutions and made hateful posts on social media.

The FIR states that Salman Ahmed’s post was seen by the police officer posted on duty himself.

In December last year, singer Salman Ahmed was expelled from the party for posting social media posts against PTI founder Imran Khan.
