Commissioner bans entry of heavy traffic into Karachi during day time

The commissioner of Karachi has issued another order to control rising traffic accidents in the city.

According to the latest order, heavy traffic has been completely banned in the city during the day time.

The Karachi commissioner imposed Section 144 on entry of heavy traffic into the city during daytime.

The ban will also apply to dumpers carrying construction material.

Heavy traffic will not be allowed to enter the city from 6 am to 10 pm, the notification said.

It added that ban on entry of heavy traffic into the city imposed on the recommendation of DIG traffic.

Heavy traffic will be allowed to ply from Superhighway to New Karachi Industrial Area via Slip Road

Heavy traffic will be allowed to move from the National Highway to Godown Chowrangi via Nazar Petrol Pump, Younus Chowrangi, Dawood Chowrangi to Jam Sadiq. Also, from Northern Bai to Paracha Chowk, State Avenue, Siemens Chowrangi to Gulbai Maripur Road.
