UAE Deputy PM arrives in Pakistan to discuss trade, regional ties

United Arab Emirates (UAE) Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in Pakistan.

According to a Foreign Office spokesperson, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan was warmly welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar upon his arrival in Islamabad.

The honored guest Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in Pakistan on a two-day visit.

During his visit, Zayed will meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss trade, investment, and energy cooperation.

In addition, the meeting will also discuss regional security and public relations for the betterment of two brotherly countries.

Previously, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in Pakistan on his first official visit.

He was invited by Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif, He received a warm welcome from President Asif Ali Zardari and PM Shehbaz Sharif at Nur Khan Airbase.

Senior cabinet members and senior diplomatic and government officials were also present on the occasion.

The venue was decorated with the flags of Pakistan and the UAE while a group of kids also welcomed the dignitary by waving the flags of both countries.

The crown prince is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers and senior officials. Prominent business leaders are also accompanying him.

During the visit, the crown prince will engage in wide-ranging interactions with the leadership of Pakistan to exchange views on matters of mutual interest and promote economic and investment cooperation.

Both countries will sign several agreements and Memorandums of Understanding for collaboration in multifaceted sectors.
