Sajal Malik Opens Up About Her Family Connection with Actor Imran Ashraf

Popular TikToker and presenter Sajal Malik, known for her engaging road shows and confident public speaking, spoke about her family background, revealing her connection with actor Imran Ashraf.

In an interview with Ali Hamza, Sajal shared that Imran is her mother’s cousin, though they have never met in person. “He knows my mother, but I’ve never actually met him. He only attends large family events like weddings,” she said.

Sajal went on to say that she once reached out to Imran Ashraf via Instagram, introducing herself as his cousin’s daughter and even sharing a photo of her mother as a reference. According to her, Imran replied, acknowledging the relation and mentioning that he could forward her to someone. However, she lost access to her Instagram account afterward and was unable to retrieve the conversation.

Reflecting on her career journey, Sajal said she had initially aspired to become an actress, but life took a different turn. “I wanted to act, but somehow ended up hosting shows instead. I also approached agencies in search of work,” she shared.

Meanwhile, the controversy surrounding a private, explicit video allegedly featuring Sajal caused a storm across social media platforms in both Pakistan and India. The viral clip sparked outrage and led to widespread criticism of the influencer. However, the woman’s identity in the video remained unclear, and no conclusive evidence proved it was Sajal.

Breaking her silence, Sajal Malik strongly denied any link to the video. In a recent interview with a private media outlet, she stated, “The video being circulated is not mine. It’s being used to defame me. I have no connection to it whatsoever.”

Despite the harsh online backlash, Sajal is standing firm, defending her name and setting the record straight.

With her public denial and clarification about her family connection with Imran Ashraf, Sajal Malik hopes to shift the narrative back to her work and away from baseless scandals.
