Pakistan briefs Oman on India’s provocations, treaty violation

Pakistan has continued to take the international community into confidence regarding Indian provocations and continuous irresponsible actions, and in this context, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar today made a telephonic contact with Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad, during which he was informed about the Indian provocations. 

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Ishaq Dar informed his Omani counterpart Syed Badar bin Hamad about

India’s provocative actions and suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, and said that India’s unilateral action is a violation of international law.

Omani Foreign Minister calls for dialogue and diplomacy to reduce tensions. However Ishaq Dar praises Oman’s role in Iran-US talks.
