Pakistan Conducts Successful Training Launch of 450 Km Range Abdali Missile

Rawalpindi: Pakistan successfully conducted a training launch of the Abdali Weapon System today, a surface-to-surface missile with a range of 450 kilometers, as part of Exercise INDUS.

The objective of the launch of the Abdali missile was to assess the operational preparedness of the forces and verify critical technical aspects, such as the missile’s upgraded navigation system and improved maneuverability capabilities.

The training launch was witnessed by the Commander of the Army Strategic Forces Command, along with senior representatives from the Strategic Plans Division, Army Strategic Forces Command, and leading scientists and engineers from Pakistan’s strategic institutions.

The President, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and Services Chiefs extended their congratulations to the participating troops, scientists, and engineers.

They expressed complete confidence in the operational preparedness and technical proficiency of Pakistan’s Strategic Forces to ensure credible minimum deterrence and safeguard national security against any aggression.
