Ambassador amid rising tensions
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Wednesday to discuss the current situation following India’s recent aggression against Pakistan.
Senator Dar briefed the ambassador on India’s unprovoked violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty, which led to the tragic loss of innocent lives. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm commitment to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Both sides reviewed regional security developments and agreed to maintain close coordination and communication in all relevant areas.
