• Increased Stipend: Starting January, beneficiaries now receive Rs. 13,500 every quarter, up from Rs. 10,500, helping offset rising inflation.
• Digital Access: Through the 8171 web portal and SMS, checking your BISP payment online in 2025 is quicker and simpler.
• Wider Inclusion: Transgender individuals with valid NADRA CNICs are now part of the program.
• Modern Disbursement: Urban users can now get their payments through bank accounts; rural residents will continue receiving funds through BISP camps and partner shops.

How to Check BISP Payment Status Online in 2025

Via 8171 Web Portal:

• Go to www.bisp.gov.pk
• Click on “Payment” or “Beneficiary Status”
• Enter your CNIC number
• Hit “Submit” to view your payment details

Via SMS to 8171:

• Type your CNIC (without dashes) and send it to 8171
• You’ll receive an SMS with your latest payment update
• Make sure your mobile number is registered

On-Site Collection:

• Once notified by SMS, rural beneficiaries can visit their designated BISP center or partner bank (HBL/Bank Alfalah)
• Payments are processed after biometric verification

BISP Payment Schedule for 2025

• January–March 2025: Disbursements began in February and will continue through March 31
• April–June 2025: Upcoming phase — stay updated via the 8171 portal and SMS alerts

Who is Eligible for BISP 2025?

• Families earning below the poverty line (PMT score under 32 or 37 for disabled dependents)
• Households led by women, widows, or registered transgender persons
• Must be registered through the NSER survey
