Pakistan’s response will need no announcement, the world will know: DG ISPR
In a high-level joint press conference, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry strongly condemned India’s recent military behavior, calling the drone attacks on Pakistani civilian areas and attempted strikes on military sites a “serious provocation.”
Deputy PM Dar emphasized Pakistan’s right to self-defense under international law. “Pakistan reserves the right to retaliate under Article 51 of the UN Charter, which affirms a nation’s right to self-defense,” he stated firmly.
He also issued a stern warning, “If India dares to undertake any further misadventures, it will face severe consequences.”
DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry also took the podium, rejecting India’s accusations that Pakistan launched coordinated attacks on 15 locations within Indian territory. He denounced the claims as entirely fabricated.
“India’s claims are baseless. The images they’ve shown of alleged Pakistani projectiles are laughable. A projectile of that nature would at least set dry grass on fire, but their so-called evidence shows no such damage,,” he remarked, ridiculing India’s so-called evidence.
He further criticized India’s contradiction, saying, “If India claims it neutralized 15 projectiles, why couldn’t it save its own five jets from being shot down by the Pakistan Air Force?” referring to the reported downing of Indian aircraft including Rafale, MiG-29, and SU-30 jets.
Concluding with a strong message, DG ISPR warned, “When Pakistan strikes, the Indian media won’t need to spin stories—the whole world will know,” asserting that any response from Pakistan will come at a time and place of its own choosing—and will be undeniable.
