Pakistan’s victory is a triumph of truth, honor, courage: PM

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Allah loves those who fight in line in His path. Today, I congratulate the Pakistani nation. I salute the brave Pakistanis from the bottom of my heart. We have proven to the world that Pakistanis are a self-reliant nation. If someone challenges our sovereignty, we become a leaden wall in our defense and overcome the enemy. 

The Prime Minister said that India demonstrated open aggression, what the enemy did in recent days was open aggression, our forces responded in a professional manner, creating a golden chapter in military history.

India imposed an unjustified war on us, we offered an impartial investigation without delay, we showed continued patience, the arrogant enemy unsuccessfully attempted to violate our borders, so we decided to respond to the enemy in the language that he understands best.

PM added that Pakistan’s falcons silenced the Indian army’s cannons in a matter of hours in a way that history will always remember. The enemy’s Rafales failed to hit the target of our falcons. We did to the enemy what befits a dignified nation. The entire nation stands with the Pakistani forces like a leaden wall.

The blood of the soldiers of the Pakistani army is boiling with the evil intentions of the enemy, India’s air bases have been reduced to ruins, Pakistan has achieved victory based on principles, it is a moment of gratitude in which the nation showered flowers of love on the Pakistani army.

He said that I pay tribute to the chiefs of the armed forces of Pakistan and all the soldiers, I thank the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff General Sahir Shamshad, Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Air Staff and the Naval Chief on my own behalf and on behalf of the entire nation. I warmly congratulate the Chief of Air Staff and his falcons, they have made us proud.

The Prime Minister said that Shaheed Irtaza Abbas was a flower that withered before it bloomed. I salute the patience of the mothers of every martyr who sacrificed their children for the country.

I sincerely thank the political leadership and parliament across the country. The political leaders demonstrated unprecedented unity. I thank my leader Nawaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari for their thoughtful advice. I also thank the journalists and social media users who countered India’s fake news with responsible reporting.

The Prime Minister also thanked world leaders Donald Trump, Mohammed bin Salman, Mohammed bin Zayed, Sheikh Tamim, and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Prime Minister said that we, as a responsible state, have responded positively to the ceasefire and are fully confident that the path of peaceful negotiations will be adopted to resolve all outstanding issues, including Jammu and Kashmir.
