The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has shared new plans to improve Islamabad’s food and recreation scene. This includes renaming Melody Food Street and setting up a new food hub in the Blue Area.

The announcement came during a meeting at CDA Headquarters, led by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, along with senior board members and officials. The main topics discussed were urban development and food quality.

Randhawa instructed officials to upgrade lighting and parking at Melody Food Street and to work closely with the Islamabad Food Authority to improve food safety checks. He said Melody Food Street is a well-known spot and should offer citizens clean, high-quality food in a well-maintained environment.

He also revealed plans to build a new food street in the Blue Area. This new spot will feature decorative landscaping, attractive lighting, and plenty of parking space to handle big crowds.
