Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a powerful address to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), congratulated the nation’s fighter pilots on their decisive success against the enemy, calling it “a historic and unparalleled victory.”
“The entire nation is proud of our valiant Shaheens,” said the Prime Minister. “Our brave armed forces have amazed the world with their capabilities.”
He announced that Pakistan had downed six enemy aircraft — not five as initially reported — including three of India’s advanced Rafale jets. “The destruction of Rafales will haunt Modi for a lifetime,” he added. “Our Shaheens struck with such precision that the enemy saw stars in broad daylight.”
PM Shehbaz emphasized that Pakistan’s swift and strategic response turned the tide in less than 10 hours. “The world heard one voice on May 10 — that Pakistan has changed the equation,” he declared. “The balance of power has shifted.”
He credited the military leadership for leading from the front and acknowledged the nation’s gratitude to Allah for granting what he called “the greatest victory in our history.” He further stated, “Pakistan’s response shattered the arrogance of the enemy and lifted the confidence of our allies.”
The Prime Minister stressed that India’s massive military spending failed to overpower Pakistan’s resilience and tactical superiority. “They spent billions on weapons, yet our pilots dismantled their pride within hours.”
On the diplomatic front, Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace and dialogue. “India knows well the necessary conditions for peace — they must grant the right of self-determination to the people of occupied Kashmir,” he said. “Let us sit together and resolve the Kashmir issue. Ignoring it could reignite the flames of war.”
In conclusion, PM Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed that Pakistan does not seek conflict but is fully prepared to defend its sovereignty. “We are ready for peace, but if provoked, we will pull the ground from beneath the enemy’s feet,” he warned.
