Pakistan’s automobile sector is showing signs of revival as inflation eases, though car prices have remained largely unchanged in 2025. However, fresh data from the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association reveals that overall auto sales declined by 5% in the past month.
Despite the decline, the “big three” manufacturers—Pak Suzuki, Indus Motors, and Honda Atlas—continued to dominate the market. Suzuki Alto remained the top-selling car in the country, while Toyota and Honda models also reported strong numbers.
Top Selling Cars In Pakistan
The Suzuki Alto sold 2,276 units in April, maintaining its lead despite a 26% decline from March’s 3,090 units. Its low price, fuel efficiency, and appeal to first-time buyers keep it in high demand.
Toyota’s Corolla and Yaris models collectively sold 2,516 units, showing a 6% rise from the previous month. These sedans remain popular among Pakistan’s middle and upper-middle-class segments due to their strong brand reputation.
Honda City and Civic models showed a notable 32% increase, reaching 1,574 units in April, up from 1,195 in March. The surge is likely tied to improved delivery schedules and recent design updates.
Meanwhile, Suzuki Swift recorded 671 sales, a 13% rise, continuing its upward trend among young drivers.
Suzuki Ravi pickups jumped by 69%, reflecting growing demand from small businesses seeking affordable transport.
Hyundai’s Porter posted an impressive 144% growth with 351 units sold, placing it among the top commercial vehicles.
Finally, Hyundai Sonata sales rose by 88%, highlighting rising interest in premium sedans despite broader market challenges.
