PM Shehbaz reaches Karachi for one-day official visit

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on Monday for a one-day official visit, as per reports. He was welcomed at the airport by Federal Education Minister Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and other government officials.

During his visit, PM Shehbaz will go to the Pakistan Navy dockyard, where he will speak to Navy officers and sailors. He is expected to honor and appreciate their service in protecting Pakistan’s sea borders, especially during the recent “Marka-e-Haq” operation.

Federal Ministers Khawaja Asif (Defence), Ahsan Iqbal (Planning), and Attaullah Tarar (Information) are also part of the Prime Minister’s delegation.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar left for China on Monday for a three-day visit, invited by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

In Beijing, Ishaq Dar will meet with Wang Yi and other senior Chinese leaders, including top officials of the Chinese Communist Party. The talks will focus on regional issues and strengthening ties between Pakistan and China.

This visit is part of ongoing high-level meetings between the two countries and shows the strong, long-lasting partnership they share.
