PM Laptop Scheme deadline extended to June 1, 2025

The Prime Minister’s Youth Laptop Scheme has extended its registration deadline from May 20 to June 1, 2025, giving students more time to apply.

This scheme is part of the government’s effort to support students and promote digital learning. The goal is to provide 100,000 laptops to talented students across Pakistan to help with their studies and research.

Who Can Apply?

Students enrolled in public sector universities and studying in the following programs are eligible:

• PhD

• MS/MPhil

• Bachelor’s

• Master’s

They must meet the academic requirements:

• Minimum CGPA of 2.80 or 60% marks

• First-year students should provide HSSC marks

• MS/PhD first-semester students must submit previous degree results

Quota System for Fair Distribution

To ensure fairness, laptops will be given based on a quota:

• 18% reserved for students from Balochistan

• 5% for distance learning students, which includes:

  • 2.5% for Virtual University

  • 2.5% for Allama Iqbal Open University
