Giant bull JF-17 Thunder sold for Rs5 million in Hyderabad
As Eid-ul-Adha approaches, a massive bull named JF-17 Thunder became the center of attention in Liaquat Colony, Hyderabad. Weighing around 40 maunds (1600 kg), the bull was sold for a record-breaking Rs5 million.
The bull was raised and named after Pakistan’s famous fighter jet, JF-17 Thunder, by local cattle trader Shahrukh. He was seen celebrating happily after sealing the deal.
A special tent was set up for the bull’s departure. The buyer’s convoy received a warm traditional welcome, with a colorful procession. People exchanged flower and currency garlands, and also gifted Sindhi Ajrak to each other to mark the occasion.
Due to its massive size and beautiful appearance, JF-17 Thunder attracted people from all across Hyderabad. Many came to see the bull, took selfies with it, and praised it with great excitement.
While such events are eye-catching and festive, Islamic scholars remind us that the true spirit of Eid-ul-Adha lies in sincerity, not show. A sacrifice done with pure intentions, regardless of the animal’s size or cost, is what truly pleases Allah Almighty.
