Karachi faces high heat, feels like 45°C

The weather in Karachi is expected to remain very hot today, according to the Meteorological Department. People are being advised to stay indoors and avoid going out unless it’s really necessary.

Although sea breezes have returned to the city, the air is still very humid. This high humidity is making the heat feel much worse, especially for those who have to travel during the day, like bus passengers.

The department said that this hot and humid weather will continue for the next few days. Temperatures may rise between 36 and 39 degrees Celsius, but it could feel as hot as 45 degrees due to the humidity.

Today, the temperature might go up to 39°C. Winds are coming from the southwest at 18 kilometers per hour, and the humidity level is around 79 percent.

Citizens are strongly urged to stay cool, drink water, and avoid outdoor activities in the heat.
