New Shocking Details Emerge in Sana Yousuf Murder Case Investigation

New shocking details have emerged in the murder case of 17-year-old social media influencer Sana Yousuf.

According to Islamabad police, Sana Yousuf, originally from Chitral, was not killed in the name of honor; rather, someone familiar to her opened fire on her as she was leaving her house.

Sana Yousuf, a resident of Sector G-13 Islamabad, was living with her mother and other relatives at the time of the incident.

Station House Officer Malik Asif of Police Station Sambal confirmed to the media that a person known to Sana visited her home, spoke with her, and then fired two shots while leaving, resulting in her death.

When asked about rumors that this was an honor killing, the SHO said, “That is not true. People can say whatever they want, but currently, we have no information to support this claim. The suspect was a masked young man, and we are working to identify him.”

Farzana Yousuf, mother of the deceased, registered the FIR. She said that around 5 PM the previous day, a medium-height, well-dressed man entered their home while she, her sister-in-law, and Sana were present. Her husband was out on an errand, and her 15-year-old son was in upper Chitral. Both Farzana and her sister-in-law witnessed the incident and said they can identify the attacker.

According to the FIR, the unknown suspect fired directly at Sana with intent to kill. Two bullets struck her chest, severely injuring her and causing her to collapse. The suspect then fled the scene.

Neighbors gathered after hearing the shots, and Farzana took Sana to the hospital in a neighbor’s car. Sana later died from her injuries.

The FIR also states that the suspect entered the home, shot Sana yousuf, and committed a serious assault. The family demands action against those responsible. Sana’s father was contacted but said he is too upset to speak.
