Gold Prices Surge Again in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Tuesday, rising by Rs1,000 to reach Rs354,100 per tola in local markets.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the rate for 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs857, bringing the new price to Rs303,583.

This follows a sharp increase on Monday, when the price of gold surged by Rs5,900 per tola, closing at Rs353,100 for the day.

Globally, gold also saw gains, with international prices climbing $10 to settle at $3,357 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as per APGJSA.

In addition, silver prices rose by Rs130, reaching Rs3,586 per tola in the local market.
