Pakistani Diplomats Land in UK Following Successful US Visit

08 June, 2025 11:25

After completing its visit to the United States, the Pakistani diplomats have now arrived in the United Kingdom (UK).

Recently, the delegation, led by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, had visited the US, where they held meetings with representatives from various countries at the United Nations, members of the US Congress, and other government officials.

Now, the delegation has reached the UK from the US Speaking to a private news channel in London, delegation member Faisal Sabzwari said, “We began our visit at the United Nations and presented Pakistan’s case. Despite showing military restraint, we came with a message of peace.”

He added, “We want global powers to tell India that two nuclear countries cannot move forward in such a dangerous environment. India is trying to gain an exception that allows it to commit aggression without evidence. Even in the Pulwama incident, we asked for proof, but India still carried out an attack.”

Sabzwari said that the delegation presented Pakistan’s stance to the US State Department and members of Congress, and their peace-oriented message received significant appreciation. “We came with a message of regional peace—this is India’s failure and Pakistan’s success,” he stated.

Sherry Rehman commented, “We want peace and negotiations on Kashmir. A review of the Indian delegation’s visit reveals their sole aim was to blame Pakistan.”

Another delegation member, Khurram Dastgir Khan, said, “The Americans believed that Trump had achieved a ceasefire, so further intervention wasn’t necessary. Our mission was to make them understand that India neither wants an impartial investigation nor is willing to engage in dialogue—hence global intervention is essential.”

Bushra Anjum Butt noted that the Pakistani delegation received a warm welcome in both New York and Washington. “On issues like the Indus Waters Treaty and Kashmir, Pakistan presented its position very effectively,” she said.
