World Urges Restraint as Israel Strikes Iran

Israel launched a large-scale airstrike on Iran, hitting more than 100 military and nuclear sites. Several Middle Eastern countries reacted sharply. Hamas and Hezbollah described the strike as a serious threat to regional peace. Iraq, Qatar, and Turkey condemned Israel’s actions, while Jordan closed its airspace to avoid being drawn into the conflict. Yemen’s Houthi rebels backed Iran’s right to respond by any means necessary.
