Vivo Y400 Pro 5G launched – check features and prices

Vivo has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Y400 Pro, offering a sleek design, solid performance, and an impressive selfie camera. This new phone focuses on delivering a smooth user experience, great visuals, and fast charging.

The Vivo Y400 Pro comes with a 6.77-inch Full HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and video playback very smooth. The screen also reaches up to 4,500 nits of brightness, making it easy to use in direct sunlight. It includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and even works with wet hands.

The phone also includes features like an IR blaster (to control devices like TVs) and stereo speakers with support for Hi-Res Audio, both wired and wireless. It is available in three colors: Fest Gold, Nebula Purple, and Freestyle White (with a shiny pearl-like texture).

Inside, the phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, along with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It uses Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15. However, Vivo hasn’t shared how long software updates will be provided.

On the back, the Y400 Pro features a dual camera setup:

• 2MP depth sensor

It supports Sony’s Multifocal Portrait mode, allowing portrait photos at 1x, 1.5x, and 2x zoom with good clarity.

The front camera is where this phone really shines—it’s a 32MP selfie camera that supports 4K video recording, ideal for detailed selfies and videos.

The phone packs a 5,500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Vivo says it can charge up to 50% in just 19 minutes using the included charger.

• 8GB + 256GB version: $310

Vivo has not yet announced when the Y400 Pro will be available in Pakistan or other markets.
