U.S. President Trump Signs Major Trade Deal with China to boost economic ties
U.S. President Donald Trump officially signed a new trade agreement with China in Washington, aiming to boost economic cooperation between the two countries.
The deal focuses on speeding up China’s export of rare earth minerals, which are critical for American technology, defense, and energy sectors. Trump praised the agreement as a big win for the U.S. economy and national security, saying it would help reduce America’s reliance on unstable supply chains.
In his speech, Trump also discussed recent U.S. airstrikes on Iran. He claimed the strikes destroyed key targets in Iran’s nuclear facilities, stating that none of the nuclear infrastructure remained intact. “Everything was hit. Nothing was retrieved or removed from the nuclear facility,” he said.
Trump added that vehicles seen at the nuclear site after the attack belonged to technical staff who were trying to seal entry points. He explained that removing nuclear materials is dangerous and takes a lot of time.
He criticized news reports that challenged his statements, calling them “deliberately misleading” and accusing major outlets like CNN and The New York Times of spreading false information. Trump demanded that journalists from these organizations be fired for pushing “fake news.”
White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt supported the President’s remarks during a press briefing. She confirmed no enriched uranium was moved from Iranian sites before the strikes, citing intelligence and satellite data that backed up the official account and dismissed rumors of material transfer.
