PTI to Send Reference Against Lawmakers Over Defection

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to take an important step on the issue of four members of the National Assembly, PTI-backed candidates joining PML-N.

On the occasion of the 26th Constitutional Amendment, 4 PTI-supported members disagreed with the party policy, after which the PTI has now also decided to send a reference to the Speaker against the deviant members of the assembly.

According to PTI leader Asad Qaiser, the four members include Chaudhry Usman Ali, Mubarak Zeb, Aurangzeb Khichi, and Zahoor Qureshi, who voted for the 26th Constitutional Amendment and have formulated recommendations against it.

The members who joined the PML-N had won on PTI tickets. The party has been asked to send a disqualification reference against these 4 members to the Speaker and the Election Commission. Let’s see what action they take.
