Indian Deputy Army Chief Lt. Gen. Rahul Singh Admits Defeat in Operation Sindoor

04 July, 2025 19:46

On 4 July 2025, Indian Deputy Army Chief Lt. Gen. Rahul Singh appeared in the media to talk about the recent Operation Sindoor. His statements surprised many because they seemed like an indirect admission of India’s military defeat against Pakistan. For two months, India kept quiet about the operation’s results. But now, Lt. Gen. Singh’s remarks have revealed cracks in the official narrative.

India has tried to hide its failure. Instead, it accused other countries like China and Turkey of supporting Pakistan. This confused many people. One day, India said China helped Pakistan, and the next day, it blamed Turkey. This back-and-forth shows India’s struggle to explain its loss. By saying it was “one against three,” India seemed to admit defeat. It also looked like India was blaming others to save face.

Lt. Gen. Rahul Singh claimed that China gave intelligence to Pakistan during the conflict. However, it is well known that Pakistan fought mainly on its own strength. Pakistan’s military had already prepared for fighting India. They knew Indian air moves even before the battle started. Pakistan’s forces are well-trained and experienced. They did not need foreign help to win.

The Deputy Chief also said Pakistan used Chinese weapons. This claim is strange because many countries, including India, use weapons from different nations. India uses arms made in France, Israel, Russia, and the USA. Just like Pakistan, India depends on foreign equipment. So, blaming Pakistan for using Chinese weapons seems weak and childish.

Wars are won by those who fight well, not just by weapons. Pakistan’s army is professional and disciplined. India’s military, on the other hand, has focused more on show and propaganda. Bollywood-style war talk and jingoism have taken attention away from real training and preparation.

Pakistan, China, and Turkey are close allies. While India has made enemies because of its policies, Pakistan has built strong friendships. Pakistan’s diplomacy has won respect globally. This shows the difference between the two countries in handling foreign relations and defense.

Lt. Gen. Rahul Singh’s statements confirm that Operation Sindoor was a failure. India’s military weaknesses are now public. Pakistan’s success in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos exposed India’s flaws. India’s ambition to be the region’s main security power has suffered a big setback.

Pakistan wants peace and dialogue with India. But Pakistan is ready to respond strongly if India tries any new attack. If war happens again, India will face defeat and humiliation, says Pakistan.

In short, Lt. Gen. Rahul Singh admitted that India was unprepared for Pakistan’s strength. This raises a big question: why did India start this conflict if it did not understand Pakistan’s military power?

The Indian Deputy Army Chief’s comments sound like complaints about Pakistan’s advantages. For 11 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has boasted about modernizing India’s military. But now, the truth is clear: India is struggling and losing ground.
