Trump Calls Elon Musk’s Political Party Plans ‘Ridiculous’

Washington, D.C. — US President Donald Trump has criticized Elon Musk’s announcement of launching a third political party, calling the move “ridiculous” and “foolish.”

In a statement posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump said Musk has “completely gone off the rails.” He argued that the creation of a third party would only lead to increased confusion, adding that Elon Musk can have fun with it, but in his opinion, it’s foolish.

Trump expressed strong doubt about the success of Musk’s political ambitions, asserting that Musk’s attempt to form a third party can never succeed. He also took the opportunity to highlight his own policy changes, stating that his new bill will eliminate the mandatory electric vehicle law and that his first responsibility is to protect the American people.

The president further revealed that Musk had once lobbied for the appointment of a close friend as head of NASA — a Democrat, according to Trump, who had never given a single dollar to the Republican Party. He added that maybe Musk is the same.
