Daniel Manuel Dies After Stabbing at DAMAC Tower, Kareem Fawaz Charged

London — A man named Daniel Manuel, 32, died early Saturday morning, July 5, after a stabbing at DAMAC Tower in Vauxhall, London.

Police were called to the building on Bondway just before 6 AM. Daniel was found hurt in the lobby. Paramedics tried to help him, but he died at the scene.

Kareem Fawaz Charged

Kareem Fawaz, 35, who lives in the same area, has been charged with murder and having a knife. He was taken to Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Another man, 33, was also arrested but later released on bail.

Police Speak Out

Detective Inspector Aytac Necati said: “It is very sad that Daniel lost his life like this. We are thinking of his family and friends.”

Police will be in the area this week to speak with people and answer questions.

Daniel’s family has been told what happened. Officers are helping them during this hard time.

Scene of Incident

DAMAC Tower is a tall, modern building next to the US Embassy. After the incident, the area was blocked off while police looked for clues.

Police say they are not looking for anyone else right now. The case is still under investigation.
