Who is Sheikha Asma Al Thani? The First Qatari Woman to Summit Nanga Parbat

Qatari Princess Sheikha Asma Al Thani has made history by becoming the first Qatari woman to successfully climb Nanga Parbat, one of Pakistan’s tallest and most dangerous mountains, with a height of 8,126 meters.

Known as the “Killer Mountain” due to its difficult terrain and harsh weather, Nanga Parbat is considered one of the most challenging peaks in the world. Despite these dangers, Sheikha Asma reached the summit and proudly raised the national flag of Qatar.
