BISP removes ineligible women from July 2025 payments list

08 July, 2025 15:40

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) took a big step in July 2025 to make sure only deserving families get financial help. Many women who were registered under false claims or without proper eligibility have now been removed from the program.

This move is meant to stop the misuse of funds and ensure that low-income families who truly need help continue to benefit.

Why Were Some Women Removed

BISP recently checked its list of beneficiaries and found that some women were not linked to valid household records; their data could not be verified in government systems and they were not part of the official dynamic survey. Because of this their names have been marked as ineligible and removed from the current list of beneficiaries.

Who is an ineligible beneficiary?

A person is considered ineligible if they used fake documents to register they applied using someone elses CNIC they were not part of any verified government support program or their data was missing or incorrect in the BISP system. These people will not receive any payment in July 2025 and have been permanently blocked from future payments.

How Was the Fraud Detected

BISP improved its system by working with NADRA and other databases. The verification process included checking CNIC numbers in national records, validating poverty scores and household surveys and cross-checking with other government aid programs. This helped detect fake registrations and incorrect data.

What Should You Do If Blocked

If you think your name was removed by mistake visit the nearest BISP office take your original CNIC and family details, request a re-verification or appeal, and complete the dynamic survey again if asked. It is important not to use agents or middlemen to register because providing false details can lead to a permanent ban from BISP.

How to Stay Eligible for BISP

Always provide your own CNIC and correct family details. Join the official BISP survey when called update your information if your family income or status changes, and never try to register with fake documents or third-party help.

This action by BISP will make the program more transparent and fair helping the right families get support.
