Swat Tragedy PHC Orders
The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has issued a written order on a petition related to the Swat tragedy.
The written decision issued by the Peshawar High Court stated that the chairman of the Provincial Inspection Team appeared in court and was told to complete the investigation and submit a report within 7 days.
The court ordered that a comprehensive report on the Swat tragedy be submitted within 14 days, a report on the measures taken by institutions to protect the public should also be submitted, and the Advocate General should also submit a report.
The court ordered that the Additional Attorney General and the Civil Aviation Authority submit a report on why two helicopters were not used despite their presence.
