Chicken Prices Rise by Rs. 30 per Kg in Market, Exceed Government Limits

The prices of broiler chicken has increased by Rs. 30 per kilogram, raising concerns among consumers about rising prices.

According to the details, chicken is still being sold in local markets for Rs. 595 to Rs. 610 per kg, although the government has set the retail price at Rs. 577 per kg to regulate costs.

Shoppers report that no shops are following the government’s pricing guidelines, and a recent market survey found that vendors are charging Rs. 20 to 30 more per kilogram than the official rate. This ongoing price increase is adding to the financial burden on many households.
