Federal Interior Minister Meets Iranian President, Discusses Pakistan-Iran Relations
Tehran: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest, Pakistan-Iran relations, and bilateral cooperation. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the Iranian president on the great victory in the war.
On this occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the entire nation, including the Iranian Supreme Leader, stood firm against aggression.
He stated that wise leadership and excellent strategy played a decisive role in the war, and this decisive role is a source of pride for the Muslim Ummah.
Mohsin Naqvi said, “Pakistan strongly condemned the attack on Iran on every forum. The Pakistani Parliament passed a resolution condemning the war imposed on Iran. Pakistan supported Iran’s legitimate right to self-defense.”
The Federal Interior Minister conveyed best wishes from the Prime Minister to the Iranian president.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that they attach great importance to their relations with Pakistan and will never forget the support Pakistan provided during the war.
He further said that the Zionist government is trying to divide Muslim countries, and unity and harmony among Islamic countries is essential.
