NADRA CNIC Renewal at Home – Check Fees, Details & Guide

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a convenient new service allowing citizens to renew their CNICs from home using the Pak ID Mobile App.

With this app, users can upload necessary documents, take a photo, and complete the application process without visiting a NADRA office. Once approved, the new ID card is delivered straight to the applicant’s doorstep.

Officials have stated that the app is a “user-friendly tool designed to streamline the identity renewal process and reduce public footfall at NADRA centers.” This move is part of NADRA’s broader goal to digitize public services and offer faster, citizen-friendly solutions.

How to Renew Your CNIC Through the Pak ID Mobile App

1. Download the Pak ID Mobile App
2. Register and log in
3. Click “Apply ID Card”
4. Choose “Myself” and then click “Renew”
5. Verify your fingerprints and click “Next”
6. Upload a photo and complete details
7. Choose the processing category (Standard, Urgent, Executive)
8. Add your signature and submit the application
9. After verification, pay the fee via “Pay Now”
10. Your CNIC will be delivered to your home

For Regular CNIC:

• Standard (15 days): PKR 400
• Urgent (12 days): PKR 1,150
• Executive (6 days): PKR 2,150
• For Smart CNIC:
• Standard (31 days): PKR 750
• Urgent (15 days): PKR 1,500
• Executive (9 days): PKR 2,500
