Trump to Notify Over 150 Countries of New Tariff Policies

Washington, D.C. – US President Donald Trump announced that his administration will formally send letters to more than 150 countries, informing them of new tariff policies.

The announcement came during a media briefing at the White House following Trump’s meeting with Bahrain’s Crown Prince, Salman bin Hamad.

According to Trump, the letters will outline revised tariff rates, which will range between 10 and 15 percent. The move is part of a broader strategy to adjust trade relations with multiple nations.

The President stated that he has several significant and favorable trade agreements in the pipeline, which will be revealed soon.

He further noted that his discussions with the Bahraini leader included detailed talks on trade matters, aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations between the United States and Bahrain.
