UK and 24 Other Nations Demand Immediate Ceasefire, Aid in Gaza

The UK along with 24 other countries has called for a ceasefire in Gaza and the distribution of humanitarian aid.

According to reports, in a joint statement issued by the British government, Israel was urged to immediately stop the war imposed on the Gaza Strip and to allow the delivery of aid supplies.

The countries that signed the joint statement strongly criticized Israel for violating the rights of Palestinians and for undermining their dignity during the distribution of aid supplies.

The statement condemned Israel’s policies, delays in aid distribution, and the brutal killing of innocent civilians, especially children, awaiting assistance in the Gaza Strip. It demanded the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid.

The joint statement was signed by 25 countries including the UK, France, Italy, Denmark, Japan, and Canada.

It is noteworthy that since the Israeli aggression started on October 7, 2023, 59,029 Palestinians have been killed and 142,135 injured.
