Hopes Dashed Again: Another Gaza Ceasefire Attempt Fails

Another attempt at a ceasefire in Gaza has failed.

Despite Hamas agreeing to the terms, Israel and the United States have once again shown double standards, with the US blaming Hamas for the failure of the Doha talks.

Hamas had signed off on the ceasefire proposals, and even the Israeli government had called Hamas’ proposals workable.

Following the failure of the Doha negotiations, the US  has decided to recall its team.

US envoy Steve Wutkeff stated that alternative routes will be considered for the return of Israeli hostages.

Meanwhile, the British Prime Minister said the situation in Gaza is “indescribable and indefensible,” adding that “we all agree Israel must change its course.”
