Terrorism Is Our Common Enemy, Says KP Apex Committee

Peshawar – A high-level Provincial Apex Committee meeting was held in Peshawar, chaired by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur. The meeting focused on the security situation in the province, especially in the merged tribal districts.

Officials gave a detailed briefing on the current challenges related to peace and security. The committee paid tribute to the sacrifices of martyred citizens, police, and security forces in the fight against terrorism.

The meeting reaffirmed a strong commitment to continue joint efforts against terrorism. It was agreed that public trust must be built through transparent and effective operations to eliminate terrorists.

Emphasis was also placed on improving coordination between the civil administration and security agencies.

The committee declared that terrorism is a common enemy of the government, institutions, and the public, and stressed that unity is key to eradicating this menace.
