Big Move in Assembly: Ijaz Shafi Banned for 15 Meetings

Lahore – Acting Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Malik Zaheer Iqbal Chanar, has taken strict disciplinary action during a recent session of the Assembly.

Opposition member Chaudhry Muhammad Ijaz Shafi, who represents PP-258, has been suspended from attending 15 upcoming assembly meetings.

According to the Assembly Secretariat, the suspension is effective immediately. The reason for the suspension was not officially detailed, but it marks a significant move by the Acting Speaker to maintain order during legislative proceedings.
