Gold prices in Pakistan hit record high - check new rates
Gold prices went down slightly in Pakistan on Friday, following a small drop in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs100 and is now being sold at Rs352,900. The price for 10 grams of gold also went down by Rs86, bringing it to Rs302,555.
Just a day earlier, on Thursday, gold prices had dropped by a bigger amount — Rs2,000 per tola, reaching Rs353,000.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the global gold rate also went down. It is now $3,302 per ounce, showing a $1 drop. This includes a premium of $20.
On the other hand, silver prices stayed the same. Silver is still being sold at Rs3,900 per tola.
