PSX hits record high with 1,670-point jump

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a strong rally on the last trading day of the business week. During the session, the market saw a massive increase of 1,670 points, crossing two major milestones.

For the first time in history, the benchmark index crossed the 141,000 mark, setting a new record.

By the end of trading, the KSE-100 Index stood at 141,061 points, showing strong investor confidence and market momentum.

Earlier on Thursday, the PSX also showed strong performance after the announcement of a trade agreement between the United States and Pakistan. This news boosted investor mood.

That day, the KSE-100 Index went up by 978 points and closed at 139,390.
