NADRA starts minority registration campaign

04 August, 2025 14:39

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has started a special nationwide registration campaign for minority communities. This drive will run from August 4 to August 11, 2025, in connection with National Minorities Day.

The goal is to make it easier for members of minority groups to get or renew their CNICs and other identity documents.

In an official message, NADRA said that every citizen has equal rights, and this campaign is a step toward making those rights more accessible.

By registering, people from minority communities can secure their access to basic services like:

  • Education

  • Healthcare

  • Voting rights

To make it easy for everyone, NADRA is using Mobile Registration Vans (MRVs) to reach different areas. People can also visit their nearest NADRA office to benefit from this campaign.

This effort is part of NADRA’s plan to provide inclusive and digital services. The campaign has been welcomed by many as a positive move to support and empower marginalized groups across the country.
