05 August, 2025 11:14

Islamabad: Pakistan has rejected allegations of the involvement of Pakistani Citizens in the Ukraine conflict.

According to the spokesperson for the Foreign Office, the claims regarding the participation of Pakistani nationals in the Ukraine conflict are baseless. Ukrainian authorities have so far not made any formal contact with Pakistan.

The spokesperson stated that no verifiable evidence has been provided to support the allegations, and the Government of Pakistan will raise the matter with Ukrainian officials.

The spokesperson further emphasized that Pakistan supports a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict, believes in dialogue and diplomacy, and fully adheres to the principles of the United Nations Charter.

It is worth noting that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in a statement yesterday, claimed that fighters from several countries are fighting for Russia against Ukraine — including individuals from Pakistan and China.
