Famous US Political Commentator Jackson Hinkle Visits Karbala, Iraq Amid Arba’in

Baghdad: Jackson Hinkle, an American political commentator and host of the online show Legitimate Targets, recently traveled to Karbala, Iraq, for Arba’in, the Day which marks forty days after the Day of Ashura.

Arba’in Day is marked by large marches worldwide to honor Hussain ibn Ali, a 7th-century leader who was embraced martyrdom for social justice. A key tradition involves walking 80km from Najaf to Karbala, a route that millions of pilgrims from around the world undertake each year

Hinkle took to his social media handle to share a glimpse of his visit to Karbala with his follower, saying that he will be sharing more glimpses in next videos. Here is what he shared:

Hinkle, known for his outspoken political commentary and pro-Russia views, remains a popular figure in Western media. He has faced backlash for backing complex governments, criticizing U.S. foreign policy, and voicing strong opposition to Israel in favor of the Palestinian cause, leading to his removal from platforms such as YouTube.

Despite the controversies, Hinkle continues to share his views with a large audience on X (formerly Twitter), where he remains actively involved in global political debates.
