Iran Arrests 20 Individuals on Charges of Spying for Israel

20 Individuals have been arrested in Iran on charges of spying for Israel, according to a news agency report.

A spokesperson for the Iranian judiciary stated that no leniency will be shown to Israeli spies. However, some individuals have been released after charges against them could not be proven.

Asghar Jahangiri, a judiciary official, said that details will be made public once the investigations are complete.

Earlier this year, eight people in Iran were sentenced to death on similar charges of spying for Israel.
