Punjab CM launches new scholarship program – Here’s how to apply

The Punjab government has introduced a new scholarship program that will pay the full tuition fee for eligible undergraduate students.

Who Can Apply?
To qualify for this scholarship, students must meet these conditions:

• Must have a Punjab domicile (proof of residence)

• Must be enrolled in the first semester (including MBBS and BDS programs)

• Family income should not be more than Rs. 350,000 per year for public sector institutions

• Family income should not be more than Rs. 500,000 per year for federal or private sector institutions

• Must submit an affidavit to prove income

Selection Process
Selection will be purely on merit. Academic marks from both matric and intermediate exams will be counted, with 30% weightage for matric marks and 70% for intermediate marks. The minimum marks needed will depend on the program and type of institution.
