Pakistan Announces Civil Awards 2025 for Top Athletes – Check Full List

The federal government has confirmed that leading sports personalities who have excelled in their respective fields will be honored with prestigious civil awards in recognition of their contributions to Pakistan.

According to official details, ten athletes and sports figures will receive national awards for their dedication, hard work, and international achievements. Among the recipients is former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Khan Afridi, who will be conferred the Hilal-e-Imtiaz alongside mountaineer Shehroz Kashif and the late equestrian Malik Muhammad Atta.

Former women’s cricket captain Sana Mir and Paralympic discus thrower Haider Ali have been selected for the Sitara-e-Imtiaz. Meanwhile, squash player Hamza Khan, shooter Mohsin Nawaz, and tennis veteran Rashid Malik will be awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.

Additionally, karate champion Shahzeb Rand and kabaddi player Muhammad Sajjad will receive the Pride of Performance for their outstanding representation of Pakistan in international competitions.

The official awards ceremony will be held on March 23, 2026, Pakistan Day, when the government will bestow these highest national honors on the deserving athletes.
