CM Gandapur Visits Flood-Hit Areas in Buner, Vows Full Support
Buner: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, visited flood-affected areas in Buner to assess the damage caused by flash floods and heavy rainfall.
According to CM spokesperson Faraz Ahmed Mughal, the Chief Minister was accompanied by Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah and other senior officials.
During his visit, Gandapur addressed the media and said that restoring access to the affected areas is the government’s top priority.
“We have requested additional helicopters from the aviation department to assist in relief operations,” he said.
CM Gandapur expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives, stating:
“The loss of human lives cannot be compensated, but we will make sure to cover all financial losses.”
He added that the provincial government is in close coordination with NDMA (National Disaster Management Authority) and assured the public that there is no shortage of resources.
“We have enough resources to provide 100% compensation for damages,” he emphasized.
The Chief Minister also mentioned a phone call from Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz, who expressed solidarity with the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during this difficult time.
