Who is Assistant Commissioner Furqan Ahmed? What Caused His Death During Flood Area Visit

Pattoki, Punjab: Assistant Commissioner (AC) Pattoki, Furqan Ahmed, passed away after suffering a heart attack while visiting flood-affected areas, the Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) confirmed.

According to PDMA Punjab, AC Furqan Ahmed was at the Head Buloki area along the Ravi River when he suffered the heart attack, which proved fatal.

DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia expressed deep sorrow over the loss and offered prayers for the late AC’s forgiveness.

Punjab is currently facing severe flooding across its three rivers. So far, the floods have claimed 33 lives and affected more than 2 million people.
