Who is Hassan? All About The Great British Bake Off 2025 Contestant

The cosy season is here, and so is The Great British Bake Off! A new group of bakers has stepped into the famous white tent, ready to take on sweet challenges. The first week is Cake Week, where bakers must make fondant fancies and a signature Swiss roll.

One of this year’s contestants is Hassan, who is excited to explore new flavours and improve his skills. He remembers the moment all the bakers walked into the tent together for the first time, calling it a “really cool moment” full of excitement.

Hassan works as a scientist, and he brings the same analytical approach to baking. He researches carefully before starting a recipe and loves experimenting with praline and nut-based flavours inspired by Asian sweets.

He says he never imagined he would make it onto Bake Off. When he got the call confirming his place, he was stunned and even had to sneak out to his car to finish the conversation in private.

Hassan’s Baking Style

Hassan believes his strengths are his flavours and creativity. He enjoys combining unique ingredients and coming up with new flavour ideas.

However, he admits that decorating cakes is his weakness. He usually prefers a simple, minimalist look, so detailed and intricate designs are out of his comfort zone.
